What happened to "Autocraft is the best" ? Learning the hard way. Buy KF panels or OG to finish a job.
Good to see an update _________________ Fat chick owner/operator |

The step from the side part must be 22mm, the AC part it is 24mm, so the side part protrudes a little from the sill. I'll make a 10cm long slot and weld it back together
There is no part that fits 100% correctly. All replica parts must be adapted. I think AC and KF are 98% correct.

Hello everybody
Unfortunately I could not weld the sheets with the old electrodes for the spot welding gun. I had to buy others.
There was also the wish to have a spotter, unfortunately they are very expensive.
So I'm building one myself from old microwaves.

I have now also received the jack mounts and adjusted them so that they fit. I will start welding at the weekend.

Hello Daniel
Wow, it's crazy but you'll do it, I own a '65 too, with less work to do, and seeing such a topic helps me...

Good job! |
Thank you
Hello everybody,
since I only got the rear floor pan for the older model years, I have to adjust this. I cut off the corner with the large radius (190mm). I will manufacture a new sheet with the smaller radius (67.5mm) and use it, I will take extra pictures.

The triangle can be used to pull small dents out of the sheet metal. I only built this device for myself because I can't use the spot welding gun for everything. I built it according to this model:
