1991 Mexican Combi Service Manual?

Hi all -

I just imported a 1991 1.8L water-cooled Mexican-made VW Bus (Transporter a.k.a. "Combi"). Does anyone, anywhere have any idea where I might find a service manual?

please post for others how you got past CA smog when you get it licensed.

Actually, we just titled it in Tennessee. I'm not even going to attempt CA.

That said, we also brought in a 1995 Beetle, that's fuel-injected AND comes with a catalytic converter factory-installed. That Beetle did actually pass emissions in Nashville.

We had a cat installed on the Bus in Mexico, so we'll see whether it passes emissions in Nashville. It's an 1800, carbureted motor so it might not.

I'll reach out to Antonio. (Probably would have been a good idea to do it when we were IN Mexico City!)
