I am looking for a new 12v electric choke. I have seen Solex, EMPI, and some with no names stamped on the housing. Has anyone had any issues buying one over the other, or is an electric choke an electric choke. They're relatively cheap unless you go with Solex, but wondered if brand name for this part matters.

Any opinions?

Is this a replacement part for an existing carb?, or are you contemplating a whole new carb?
