^^^ Thanks for asking Mika. So the is from Empi I ordered it through Bugformace and went and picked it up.

They are for off-road cars so they come about and inch to tall and to wide so I just cut it down. I would be happy to get one for you and send it your way. Just PM your address. 😊👊

Jason, Very nice progress details. Looks like you found your generator plate after all, looks original ? Just picked up my Typ 87 replica body from Cooker's so I can now focus on chassis details and using the same wheel / hubcap combination you have. The WESA tires you have look like what I was hoping to find, could you share your source ? Thanks, Gene

Hi. I've taken pictures of the windows from my May 47 Beetle, but have mislaid the camera/PC connecting cable, so can't upload them yet!

The glass in my car is the same as in the picture above, with the Sekurit logo, but doesn't have any of the dating dots seen under the R and T.

That SEKURIT-logo is way too new for the 47. You need to get the older version, do not have a pic at hand right now.
It would be a 50/50 chance that the 47 was supllied with clear glass as well, no logo .... so if you have a hard time finding the correct log (glass or blast-pattern), I would go (have gone...) for no-logo glass.

quote - 2 pieces of new tempered rear Split Window glass. These have the correct tempering tong marks and we can etch Sekurit on 1, both, or none. Depends on the year of your car. The etching is done like it was in the 50's, not a modern checmical etch like other repros.
