I have done a search for this, but had no hits.
In the book "Motley Crue: the dirt", in part 2, chapter one, there is a black and white picture of a young Nikki Sixx standing in front of a low-light Ghia.
And here I thought that I would read it and donate it back to Goodwill....

Interesting that the Lowlight in Box Hill appears to be RH drive - I am still looking for info on how my March 56 came to be in Oz and who converted it to RHD

I'm sure you know there were a couple of companies here in the UK that offered the RHD conversions on the Ghia Lowlights, could yours be one of those Jerry. Is there any indication when your '56 was imported. The dash on those RHD conversions are easily recognised, they were fibreglass:

Thanks John, but no definitely not one of those conversions. All metal dash with correct Glovebox lid and an exact L to R conversion. As you know we sell the Glovebox kits and dash tops for L to R conversions and have done at least 5 conversions ourselves - it all started with my 58 Cab.

1968...the "F" suffix on the registration gives the date. I wonder if this picture features in a topic for Honda 50s too. Wink

Well its 30 years ago ..so suppose qualifies for vintage Laughing
I grab photos from Reddit, FB, pinterest etc and stick up here. I had no idea it was you. It is a poignant photo given give what transpired a decade later.

If you have a story around the lederhosen perhaps do share.
