I don't know what that is, but interesting! Never seen one like it. Unique angular lines and built in headlights. If you are comfortable with fiberglass repair and are looking for an unusual Buggy to build that would be a great candidate!

I notice it looks like the dash and just a bit of the front hood are 1 piece bolted to a 1 piece body, instead of a separate hood that is itself usually made of 2 parts bonded together under the windshield. I wonder if there is a missing front piece for below the headlights, a lower nose piece.

Hello. Recently while getting a 1967 parts car I saw this near it. I have searched but can’t find what kind this is. I believe the hood looked at from two pictures will tell the type. I am buying it for $500 as soon as we can both set up a time to go out to this property and pull it out

It might be a "Fun Buggy" by Allied, model 20-2:

Here's another; but this one's for full-size pan, model 40-4:

Looks like a KAR Wildcat, though the hood on this one is slightly different.

Did you, or someone else here, pick this thing up? That is such an interesting take on the Manx style that I hope someone fixes it up and runs with it. If Ohio wasn't so far from Seattle I'd be very tempted to rescue that body. (Don't tell my wife!) Cool

I pickup up this interesting buggy today. The "Ford" logo on the nose has me a little confused. Any idea where this comes from?

Hi Everyone,

Need some of your guidance to help me identify which company made the fiberglass dune buggy body I recently purchased. It's on a 1965 shortened VW chassis. My hope is to eventually purchase some side pods for it once its roadworthy again. Before purchasing (or making) the side pods I'd like to know the manufacturer of the fiberglass body.

I've looked through the Dune Buggy Archives website, but am stuck between two models: 1. Bermoco or 2. Boss Bug. What do you think?

I had it reviewed by Meyers Manx, but it's not a Meyers Manx body. Fairly confident it has a Meyers Manx front hood on it.

Any input appreciated - thanks!

Trying to figure out my pops buggy. We never figured it out before we lost him. We got it on the road and that’s all he wanted. Next step is to find a verifier who will register as a beetle for us because it’s going to his grandkids one day. Thanks for any help with the ID.
