So at an auction of a recently closed up shop, I managed to buy a bunch of distributors. All are original Bosch Germany built. I think I have a handle on what most of them are, but if anyone can clear up the question marks, and maybe make any other pertinent comments, it would be appreciated.
023178009
(basic 009)
043905205
113905205T
113905205AA
(standard SVDAs?)
311905205L
(SVDA for Type 3?)
ZV/JU 4R3 (cast iron)
(from a 36hp?)
Thanks for any input on confirming what they are and what the best use is for them. |

113905205T (Beetle 1970 * 1600 Manual Trans) 1969 and for Bus too
113905205AA (Beetle 1969 * 1500 Auto-Stick Trans)
(standard SVDAs?) the 043 and 113 AA are SVDA the 113 T vacuum advance only.
311905205L (Type 3 69-69 * 1600 Fuel Injected Manual Trans)
(SVDA for Type 3?)
ZV/JU 4R3 (cast iron) (Type 3 1964 * 1500S)
(from a 36hp?) It does use 36 hp Beetle points and the vacuum canister matches the specs for a 36 hp Beetle but has a slip on vacuum nipple.
Thanks for any input on confirming what they are and what the best use is for them. |

I guess it's a typo, but ZV/JU 4R3 is a aluminum vacuum only distributor, ZV/JCU 4R3 is the cast iron -64 1500s |

Again, thanks!!
How does the advance curve on that compare to a 205? Am I correct to assume it's vacuum advance only? |

The ZV/PAU 4 R 5 is a vacuum advance only and needs the vacuum signal from a 28 PICT series carburetor. The 113 T (all distributors are 205's) needs a vacuum signal from a 30 PICT series Solex carburetors so the two can't really be compared. _________________ Roads Scholar &
