Foot vent screw

Does the foot vent get fastened with a self tapping screw or a machine screw?

Originally used a self-tapping sheet metal screw, I believe -- ref. links below to pages from old parts manual:

If there are already existing holes in your heater channel, any sort of sheet metal screw which fits should be fine.
