I was setting up at a campground and looked down on the floor in front of the bench seat and saw this. It's possible it's not even a Vanagon part, but the wear marks mean it did something important!
Any ideas? _________________ 1985 Westfalia 15 degree EA288 Boxeer |

Stump the chump. I thought I knew every part on these vans. I am intrigued.

Now it's bugging me. I swear I've seen that part on one of my Westfalias.
Probably not, as ID is small but is it from a rear bench seat hinge? edit. Meant:
"rear bed hinge".

A sliding pin in the Z bed mechanism? You have a full width folding bench? |

I have a Westfalia. We pulled out the bed and didn't notice anything unusual about the mechanism. _________________ 1985 Westfalia 15 degree EA288 Boxeer |

Assuming the part doesn't have a part number, it's likely westfalia related?
