I saw the different "new" brand of spark called "E3". So now I'm curious about them.

This is supposed the by the NGK BP6 ET equivalent:

I put a set in my Subivan a few years back when my daughter was going to head off the grad school and I was going to let her use the van while there. They seemed to work fine, but eventually the intake hose came loose from the throttle body and the van got towed to a shop and while there the plugs got replaced for unstated reasons. When I got the van back they had been rattling around in the glove box for a couple of years and I have never gotten around to trying them again.

I just looked up the NGK's a few daze ago and only saw them around $6.50.
I bought a few sets 3 months ago for $4.60 each.

Nope. Not even if they're cheaper.

Well your still lucky. A local FLAPS here only wants $15.40 each for them.
(Then again the same FLAP wanted $29.99 for a can of 3M Contact Adhesive Spray when Walmart just wanted 11 bucks for it. It's just outright theft. Now my local FLOP!)
