Do you have a removable center seat? Is it part of that assembly? I’ve never seen one of those seats.

On early model Syncro front suspension systems, there is a part like that to allow the bottom shock bolt to be inserted. I know because i lost one and Burly bailed me out of that mess.

Just put it in your misc fastener drawer. After years of pushing it around in circles rifling through the misc parts bin the " Ah ha ! " moment where you realize what it was for, probly won't happen. But it'll be nice and shiny.
