I cannot tell you where to get them, I can only tell you where NOT to get them. ANY dealership that sells COKER tires. I have had problems as well as several other members. My set were Michelin and out of round, and they didnt do anything even with the warranty. Piss poor customer service!

Shouldn't you get 5.00 16 tyres if they are for a pre october 1952 beetle? Then 5.60 15 after the Zwitter was introduced?

Heidenau in (Eastern) Germany produces the correct 5.00-16 tires for a Split Beetle. KdF-Wagen and some early post war 40´s Beetles used 4.50-15 available from Firestone. Many tire manufacturers offer 5.00/52.5-16 but that is incorrect and too large though it can be used (Excelsior, Avon etc.).

Thank you for the help. I thought it was the same width as later, just different diameter.

Would these tyres work to put on all 4 wheels?

if they are motorcycle tires then no. they would never have enough load carrying capacity.

... been thinkin' >

… And as an alternative, Jim, from OKC, OK. ran "space- saver" 16s, on his 1950 original rat rod as described in VW Trends, back in the day - when this car was running around Germany, driven by Jim, when in the USAF...

I've tried space saver 5:25 16 black walls (on the front, in this case) and they are an awesome alternative - bet you can find them, at a reasonable price at any local salvage too - what a great idea - thanks Jim... z

not sure why you're looking at space saver spare tyres as they are speed limited and designed for temporary use... Confused

All early type one beetles are "speed limited" and isn't everything in this life temporary? 16 inch space savers may be an inexpensive alternative for us too - more than one-way to view everything - guess, i'm not so practical - z

Light-duty, special purpose, temporary-use spare tires - I have seen people riding around, for months, on these tires - only one and the other 3 are their regular rubber - thanks for the link - Nothing beats, doing your own thing, in life - Mine were $20, at the salvage - a good, cheap alternative, for a cheap-ass guy - z

We also carry 550x16 tyres (Heidenau P29) - made for the VW Barndoor. I see now you were looking for 560x16.
We also carry 560x15 for the 10.1952-1974 Beetle.

Hey, I know coker tires is not so good, but after many time searching, due to international shipping and prices it looks like my only option. They are for a 1950 beetle, 16 inch wheels.
I want to make sure that this will fit:

With this tubes:
https://www.cokertire.com/accessories/500-510-16-tr-6-center-rs-tube.html

Thanks for the help
