So I just finished installing the CSP disc brake conversion kit, and it went well with one exception: the kit includes stainless hubs which screw on, as opposed to the old bang on original hubs. They are somewhat deeper than the originals and so the cable end does not come thru the square hole like it should.
I don't see a fix for this. I looped some thread around the cable, trying to ease it into the square as I screwed on the hub, but no luck.
Any one else have this problem? |

Shove the cable sheath further into the back of the spindle.
