1.8 Digifiant 2 . I've been having all sorts of problems keeping my daughters car running. I have replaced coolant temp sensor, fuel filter, fuel pump, pressure regulator, iac valve, and a complete tune up with new coil. I pulled the plugs to make sure they are all still firing. When you turn it over with the plugs out it squirts fuel out of 2 cylinders. I thought turning it over would pump the fuel out but it just keeps pumping fuel. Would a stuck open injector possibly be the cause? Thank you |

Your ECM took a shit. This is usually caused by a bad ground at the engine & the starter looks for a suitable ground. Look for another ECM & clean all ground points to the engine & body before trying to start with new ECM. _________________ Everybody born before 1975 has a story, good, bad, or indifferent, about a VW.
