SO42 walk through rear cushion size

anyone know the full width of a rear bed with cabinet from a 67 in mustard vinyl?

Do you specifically mean the cushion width?
...I can measure mine if that's what you need.

Mine is a '67 walk-through, so the mustard-vinyl covered has the spare tire and the cabinet in the back.

Here you go... 39-inches.

Maybe + another quarter to half-inch with the bulge of the cusion within the fabric.

Instead of starting a new thread, I figured I would utilize this one.

Has anyone seen a walk thru SO42 rear cushion in a different size other than what DadaCheese posted above of 39x30?

I found a cushion recently that is 36x28. It looks original. Has the same zipper, same stitch pattern, same stitch color, and same seams/ fold over as my original cushion that measures 39x30.

I know its not from an SO69 as I measured a friend's SO69 rear cushion and that cushion was 40x35.5

Thoughts?

You can see the differences in size in this first photo.

I do not see any evidence of it being cut down from a larger cushion.

I looked at two more walk through SO42 rear cushions and found two more different sizes. Both very original buses and both are 1967 model year.

I thought that all SO42 walkthrough cushions were a standard size of 39x30 but after doing some research I have found this is not the case.

After looking at 4 different rear cushions, all 4 are different sizes.

I get 39" X 29" outer edge of bead.

From the stitching to stitching I get 38 1/2" X 28 1/2".
From pooch to pooch it is 39 1/2" X 29 1/2"

Unfortunately, my SO42 didn't come with a rear cushion so I bought a reproduction from NLAVW. For what its worth, it measures 37.5" x 29.75" (stitch-to-stitch).

I would think the that the measurement would be an even metric number. Something like 95cm (37.4") x 75cm (29.5")
