MGAs are great fun! love that body flex, and those plywood floors. But the roadster is barely a three season car in the north east. I never understood the obsession with top less cars from a country that gets 5 warm sunny days a year. Plus with around 100,000 MGAs produced vs millions of bugs, your performance parts selections are so much greater with VW. I'd say you made the right choice. |

Oprn you left out no way to lock the car, no door handles, no glass side windows, just take the plastic windows out of the trunk and put them up.
Horn in the middle of the dash, signal light switch that worked like a egg timer,
twist it ----tic tic tic that twist it again. Two 6 volt batteries, Positive Ground.
If the car did not start it came with a hand crank. In cold weather you needed it with straight 30w in the winter
Me driving and my wife to this day standing.

No need to lock it, it has an anti theft stick... even the 40 year old mechanic at the tire shop couldn't figure it out! "Can you drive it in for me?"
and a hidden fuel pump toggle switch for back up. _________________ We had the stone age, the bronze age, the industrial age and now we are in the age of mass deception and mind control for corporate profit. (The mass media age) |

Cool to see the Bronx address of the old EMPI warehouse.
Here's what it looks like today:
