Looking to get my front and rear bumpers rechromed on my 71 Ghia. Not afraid to ship to a good reputable shop, preferably in or near New Jersey. To those who have been there/done that, what might be a reasonable price? Let's take it for granted they are both in great shape with only surface pitting and no dents. Any input will help a lot and Thanks!

I sent mine to Advanced Plating in Tennessee.
https://www.advancedplating.com/site/
I sent both front and rear. Like you they were straight but I had some through rust on my rear passenger blade.
While they were there the place had a giant fire. Luckily, my bumpers were in a different building.
It took them about a year and half to move, retool and get back to business.
They look completely amazing.
This place cuts no corners. All the old chrome is removed, metal repaired and triple dipped.
Both bumpers including shipping ran just under $3100.00
You won’t get a hard price until you send them in but you’ll get glossy photographs with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of
each one explainin' what each one was.😉
Not cheap by any means but I highly recommend them.

Thanks you for the feedback Jeffrey! There is a place here in my town that offered to do mine for $1400. They are the go to guys for a restoration shop also in my town. Never having gone through this process before, the wife thought this was a lot of $$$. But since there is no shipping involved plus the local reputation involved, I hope this is a good move. Their work looks pretty good to me so I may just pull the trigger here. Thanks again!
