Thanks Jeff, the opulent mansion once served as a private school until 20 years ago. Now it's the status symbol to a gated retirement village. Smile https://www.lifecareresidences.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/LifeCare_GrovePlace_Brochure.pdf

Not ready for it yet. Wink

Congrats to all the new additions!
It might just be me but the quality of the Ghia's posted as of late seem to be continually improving Cool

Beautiful Ghia. So nice to see such a well fitting engine lid! This color really works well for a Ghia.

Hi, new to the samba as a member but quite long as a follower/reader.
Finally this week I bought a 1958 Lowlight!!! Color not ok, interior not ok, bumper not ok…. lots of things to be done, but looks quite straight....
Let us see what surprises it will show upon stripping it down!!!

greetings from Chile

Congrats!

If you are going to detail the stripping down and a restoration of the car, please start a new dedicated thread here.
I would be interested to follow along with the progress.

Mine is too. How is your turning circle? Is the steering stiff too? Mine isn't as low as yours though. I'm wondering as a point of comparison.
