They’re DEPO, made in Taiwan. I bought them from FK Auto in Germany. Link
They’ve been on the van for about 5 years now, so I don’t recall the exact details, but it took a little effort to get the halo rings to be tied into the running light circuit. |

I wrestled between green and red when I ordered mine. That green is gorgeous _________________ .ssS! |

Maybe. All that snow has melted, and now the trails are perfect. Brown POW. Not sure what Sunday-Mondays storm will yield. _________________ 2002 EVC |

I know - heading back up in a week. Hopefully the conditions hold. Only bummer is some of my favourite trails in South Lake area are closed &/or bulldozed due to the fires. |

It's so unfair that you folks got all those amazing versions of the T4 and we got just a few. That Syncro TDI is dreamy. _________________ Casey--

Finally got to put some miles on my '02. Joshua Tree and then a second trip up to the Humboldt Redwoods and the Smith River in the far NW corner of California.

Nice! I have dreams of taking mine to the track as well. That would definitely be an upgrade of sleeping in a tent on asphalt.
Think you could fit two sport bikes side by side in the back if you took out all the rear seats? What did you use for tie down anchors? |

When I first started going to the track, the trackday provider PSSR co-owner had 2 Ducati 996's side by side in his Eurovan.
I just used the lugs from the rear facing seat, though the one on the passenger side is more of a hole, so I just inserted a little hook in there to attach tie-down straps. I like using the lower triple clamp vs. clip-on anchor point.
Suppose 2 front wheel chocks & straps would suffice for 2 bikes, but any extra
camping gear etc would be a tight squeeze, unless a rocket box or removable rear trailer hitch tray carried extra goods.
What kind of bike will you be riding when this day comes? |

I've hauled engines around in the center section of our EV and used the metal rings at the base of old seatbelts bolted to the provisions in that area for belts serving the center row seats. The bolt holes are covered with round black plastic plugs you unscrew. I also used the anchors for the two jump seats. _________________ Casey--

Now you're getting my mind racing about track days again!
I did hardwood floors in the front and a pullout tray at the back, so I pretty much managed to cover up all those useful floor anchor points. Darn.
I've got a Triumph Daytona 675 and a KTM Duke 790 to choose from. Is yours an R6?
Though we may have to move this to another forum. The admins may get mad at us for talking about 2 wheeled fun |
