I did some looking through the threads and wasn’t able to find anything updated for “the modern era” , only old links that don’t get me anywhere.. Anyway’s, I’ve got 2 stock type 3’s, both have the stock 165/r15 rims and I’m considering getting some all terrain tires for them or atleast would like to look into it.. I wasn’t able to find anywhere that still makes them but maybe I didn’t look hard enough, everything I was able to find was discontinued. Anybody know of any stock size A/T’s out there? Any info is much appreciated! Thanks! _________________ 1964 safari beige (L563) notchback 1500 S

Obsolete, outdated, not going to happen.
Stock Wheels are 4 1/2" wide, best thing is to find or custom make 5 1/2" wheels to OG centers with proper ET and then there are A/T Tires that are available, size 195/65/15 would be the starting point. |

The closest thing you'll find in that size is the Vredestien snow classic. They're still available in Europe and have a great tread pattern. I used them years ago on my Rabbit winter beater and they work awesome in the snow |
