Hi folks.

Since this is a load bearing surface, and oil slinger is missing, I think the answer is likely "no" but....

Would a repair using a shaped piece of aluminum epoxied to area missing metal look feasible?

Thanks,

Neil.

I would search up a replacement bellhousing that hasn't sat out in the salt spray for the last 20 years.

I heard that oil slinger thingie has gone NLA (?)
I bet Smallcar has a lot of used VW bellhousings because they replace with their adapter bellhousing.

Thanks folks.

Sounds like I'm barking up the wrong tree here.

Shame to toss it but I have to down size. e.g. as is, I think it could be used as part of an engine test stand.

Neil.
