There seems to be a good market for mods. I'm not surprised. I think it will easily go over $30k. |

Nice car...it's local to me but I don't know it. I do know where the pictures were taken, Stoney Cross, in The New Forest. Do you know the car "jaket3"? |
Hi John,
No never seen it before. A difficult one to value as it needs floor pan repairs which is no big deal but I expect it to need both sills and heater channels which is a lot of work and beyond my skills. Looks like all the parts are there. I can't work out if it's great or if it's a full resto job. Interior looks great but tired.
Nose looks good.
Sure someone will give it a good home.
Cheers
Jake (Sold the Type 3 now got a 71 Ghia.) |

Looks like a solid restoration with a few details that need attention.
What's up with the 'Volkswagen" emblem on the rear lid. Isn't it on the wrong side _________________ "Depression is a malfunction of the instrument we use to determine reality.”

Hell of a mark up for a glorified golf cart.
BTW, did they put a lift kit in it? _________________ Go Reds! Smash state!

Seller is engaged early.
Nice restomod.
I like the low back seats. I was never a fan of the 68 high backs.
Should do well😎 _________________ "Depression is a malfunction of the instrument we use to determine reality.”

The body looks raised in the BAT photos as well. In these new pictures though, the right side seems higher then the left. ?? I'm sure no expenses were spared to triple this cars value? _________________ Marc

Yeah, he should have probably pulled that add…
No way anyone would pay that much off the Samba. Cars like that are lucky to break $20k which since this one has been listed since August makes me think his reserve is probably close to his asking price. _________________ Go Reds! Smash state!

He got zero emails apart from someone telling him to list it on BAT as Ghias were doing well there.
Apparently he took the advice. _________________ How to Post Photos

I thought once you put a car on BAT having an ad elsewhere was a no-no. Am i wrong? |
Yes, I believe you are supposed to remove all ads.
I'm sure he could edit/relist it saying to go to BAT for cross-advertisement purposes. _________________ How to Post Photos
