I know Tucker is healthy and family is well. Itís a bummer when we lose interesting and knowledgeable contributors on The Samba.

Well that's good to hear.
I was gonna ask ya if you exchanged numbers with Mark.

Although his posts are hard to read. Once you get over it. He is very insightful.
I miss seeing his posts. Shocked

Maybe he'll make some thyme to update us on what he's up to these days.

I had an exchange with him recently through PMs. I think he still has a 356 or Speedster replica but not working on it right now.

Dave lives in OKC. Maybe someone in that area knows him?

Peoples interests change, some get bored with the same discussions over and over, others get busy with life or building projects. I used to be on here several times a day, now its once a week or so

I chat with Mark once in a while, hope Dave's OK.

Like oldDKP, desert busman, Karl and many more.

Some day Iíll be pissed when clatter, skills, Busdaddy, ashman40,Abscate, alstrup, airschooled, wcfvw69, and many more check out. Itís just a stupid car. But man these stupid cars have lead me to neat friends and beer across the country. The Samba is like TV but better. You actually learn something. Sometimes itís not about a car.

I "think" he lives Northeast of OKC. I live in OKC.

I have not seen him post in a while. But i know how it goes....sometimes it gets damn busy and the noise is not worth the time investment.

I get that about tuning out. I grow tired of reading the same shit, every other blue moon.

Just like keeping track of people I interact with. All the familiar names are, well, familiar - right? When one of those drops out for 4 months, makes me wonder.

Just hoping he is doing well!

In your case, after looking at your location, we know it's because you are out splitting firewood! Laughing
