1952 Zwitter RAGTOP (original factory ragtop). German delivery (Hamburg) and the ORIGINAL German title from 1952 is still with the car.
Og seats and doorcards, 30 HP engine. Driving very well. Car is not perfect but very pleasant, extremely solid and driving very nicely.

Good to see this thread getting some action again. I originally posted on page 1 but it looks like my photo links are now dead.
Here's my '51 sunroof as it sits today. Tucked away in my garage collecting dust. Original azure blue on the inside with a real bad repaint on the outside.

Azure Blue was only offered on the Split Window Karmann from April to September 1952. Here is my July-car which is now under restoration. No surfaces will be restored - so it will be mostly original paint all over. Love it!

Very cool after I restore my Hoffman I want to do an all og paint split next.

did some exploratory wet sanding on one of the fenders. looks like there is a bit more blue hiding under the primer.
