Hello...
I have an 1958 Ghia, my trunk is closed and does not pop open when I pull the release knob near steering wheel. The knob only pulls a short distance, it is not that the cable is broken. I got both hands on the pull knob and with all my might she wont open, any more force and I might end up breaking the cable or knob I think.
What tricks if any are there to open the trunk when the release cable wont do its thing?

You will have to get to the latch and cable through the horn opening under the car.

| Maybe have someone push/pull on the lid when you pull the knob |
