Hi all,

I have a ‘69 squareback with original 14” Fuchs on it. The previous owner used the cheesy old 4x130 to 5x130 adapters on the front wheels which I’m now realizing is contributing to poor alignment since one is thicker than the other...

Can I remove the adapters and change the front brake rotor from the original 4x130 to a 5x130 rotor like this? https://vwispwest.com/frt-brk-rtr-5-130-por-ea-mb22-2963-b/

Or would I have offset issues? I’ve seen on a couple retailer websites that IRS cars (like mine) need a spacer, but I can’t find more information about the needed spacer or where to find it for sale.

If I only need to swap the front rotors though, then it seems easy enough.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!
