A neighbor who knows I have a VW came by and gave me some hubcaps and a shifter they found in their shed from a previous occupant, it doesn't seem to have any writing on it anywhere, kinda looks like a scat but they tend to label theirs. Anyone know anything more about this shifter?

All I know is that the #Bwajaja has one. Shifts pretty solidly-better than the empi-hurst knockoff at any rate. _________________ 74 1303 (RevBug): plan for German Look

That might be it! I knew I'd seen one before but couldn't think of the brand. I think it's in need of a little refreshing though, the reverse lock out nub has rubbed against the frame for so long it's half ground away and you can throw it in reverse without pulling the lever up. Probably going to have to drill out the rivets, take it apart and weld that nub back for it to work again. |
