Haha get out of town. I haven’t been active in here for ages but my old man tipped me off. He actually has a super solid Class 11 style car now as well as the bus, and his is WAY more trick than mine. Roll cage, boxed arms racing seats etc. I think in a former life it actually may have even raced Baja…. I’ll have to see if he has a build thread or not too lol.
But anyways…. Awesome that Whitey found another new home, hope you get a lot of miles out of it and get it running good. Gosh that car was too much fun, I’m stoked someone else is gonna have a bunch of fun with it now too! Equally stoked to see the same car swap owners and still maintain a build thread. It’ll be awesome to see how ya make it yours (and haha maybe you’ll follow through with the gauges lol)!
Maybe one day I’ll snap up another one but my Jeep Wrangler and my DR650 will have to scratch my wheeling and air-cooled itches for now haha!
Carry on and stay safe wheeling!

Gonna bring this thread back from the dead because i just ran into it today.
I actually have Adventurers old VW, i want to say my buddy bought from the family & eventually passed it down to be about 3 years ago.
Ive owned the car since 2018, I havent done much to it other than maintain it and enjoy it.
Upgraded the shocks to FOX 2.0 remote res shocks, modified a rack for it to fit the awning.
