After perusing this thread I noticed that there was a m code for chrome hub caps, so I assume if GUI don't have the m code I should become running grey caps on my Fity nine? _________________ Go Reds! Smash state!

Hello,
Gonna try and wake this thread up! I am about to make a replica breadbox lid for my so23 cabinet / emka cups. But!! Cant find the dimensions anywhere - Does anyone here have an original SO23 with the breadbox? And want to measure and share with me the dimensions of the lid, have tried google very thoroughly without luck.
It Will be very much appreciated!!!

Good morning with Bella Storm hitting our windows.
I assumed that bowl trap is missing. Or do I own the only So23 with factory non-bowl equipment? Does anybody reproduce only this side wall?
Oh, yes, I forgot 2 questions. Could you please show pictures of:
- original way of holding table while driving
and
- front and rear bumper tent mounts (welded? bolted?)
Thank you
Just for the thread:

That wash cabinet does not look original in the photo. The table is clamped to the wall in ' table mode' with a chrome screw clamp. The table leg sits on an aluminum acorn nut screwed through the floor to a bolt underneath. The rear bumper tent mount is just a hole at the front right corner of the bumper. The front bumper is an L shaped bracket of sorts that bolts to the bumper with 2 small bolts and nuts. A quick seach of the gallery on this site should show pictures of those items pretty easily. |

Your rear tent mount on the roof does not appear original in the photo, unless there is something sticking out of it.
Does your front bumper have two small holes in it for a tent mount on the pass side about 1/3 of the way from the end? |

Thank you buseric,
I will look for bumper holes (I didn't think about the problem of having a small garage when we bought the house 8years ago).
There is a problem for sure at roof tent mount. But it seems to be there for a while, roof is dented like somebody hit a wall/roof with bracket up...

Hello. Everybody is doing fine?
Closet looks original, I guess lateral door once broke and somebody just put a wood panel.
Rear bumper hole for tent pole is there and very clean. But the only hole I found in the front bumper is this one:
I realise I still have a looooooot of work

Yes, looks like a modified SO23 cabinet. You can see the holes from the hinge mount where the side door was originally. Thats good news.
The front bumper hole is not for the tent mount. The bumper has likely been changed at some point. I see body filler in the nose in the photo so likely was in a minor accident. Looking inside behind the kick panel might show some history. Nice bus! If leaving it outside put a tarp over it to keep water from coming in the subhatch and windows. |

Hello,
filler? I don't see filler, my So'23 is super clean!
Could anybody post a closer picture of front bumper tent mounting, please?
Just to see if it is possible to do it myself, or does anybody has one for sale (in Europe...)?

Everett, Clara, I found your old photos. Thank you!
Could anybody, please do the same thing with NON-pressed front bumper?
I am not in a hurry, but I guess it will be easier to adapt my bumper than find an original westfalia one...
Thank you. _________________ Freedom for the Catalan Countries

Hello,
sorry everybody. Several family issues kept me out for a while. Thank you for your answers. Nice to see bbt reproduces brackets. (For LHD as well. https://www.bbt4vw.com/en/catalogue/1-exterior/8-A...ng-doors-/)
Another issue: do you like scary pictures?
I don't know why I didn't look at electrics before, but that's a big surprise! Is it normal? For sure NOT, but should any good soul put a picture of an SO23' correct fuse box?
And the Westfalia wiring diagram, please? I only found normal diagrams.
Thank you and keep safe. _________________ Freedom for the Catalan Countries

Hello,
I hope you are all doing as well as possible. Spring is here and hurry is entering to get the westy safely running.
I can't find a wiring diagram SO23 specific. One can think our westy had an exciting life and evolved a little bit too much (turn signals on b-pillars, 3rd stop light, speakers here and there, 12V transformation). So I would like to know which should be the original electrical configuration. I assume that the second fusebox shouldn't be there.
Thank you. _________________ Freedom for the Catalan Countries

The wiring diagram is the same. Westfalia only added wires from the engine compartment to the clamshells and the water pump. The two fuse box for it is located near the battery. Power source is direct to the battery. _________________ Go Reds! Smash state!

To my knowledge nobody makes a subhatch seal. You likely need to use the grey door seals. I try to find good used sections of old door seals for so they compress properly and don't put too much stress on the hinges and latches |
