Yeah, i was umm. disturbed by it lol.
No starter either. And idk what a fuel pump or fresh air hose has to do with 6v 
the decimal place needs t move to the left. a few times.

As an update, apparently it *was* a typo on the price. Originally it was $22000. Corrected now to $2200. So, not as crazy as I thought.

Now $1900 for a rolling shell and good pan. Seems decent especially when it will likely sell for $1,500-$1700(ish). If it was $22K well, puff, puff, give!

Today I laughed out loud. A $60,000 VW that comes with "the original 25hp motor that I had rebuilt(Not sure if it’s matching numbers to the car)." Wow.

So I see a samba ad… price seems a bit low… and the vendor is a new samba user as of that day…. What percentage of these ads are scammers? I see them pretty regularly.
A couple of times I knew the actual real owner and the car… and know it’s fake… in which case I email Everett with the documented facts and the ad is pulled within a few minutes and the user banned.
I’m just sorta interested in what percentage of the new user first day ads are fake and demand Everett to act. Seems like it would be pretty dang often… and probably a ton of birdogging by Everett.
So I guess this comment is just a big thank you to Everett for all he does… not the least of which is purge the scammers!
But what percentage (Everett) of first time ads from brand new users do you find yourself deleting?
And also… just kinda curious… how many of you sambanistas have reported fake ads?.. and how often?

It always cracks me up when I see cars listed forever, don’t sell, and then get re-listed for even more. There’s either something seriously wrong with the car, it’s priced to high, or a combination of both. This also is not the right place to be listing your car if it hasn’t sold in 3 years. I guess there’s also the “I’m listing it to please my wife, but don’t really want to sell it”, or the “maybe I’ll get lucky” excuse.

Well, it is an attractive car ----and the market prices are climbing ----and it is now three years older than when it was listed.
And, you have called attention to the car thereby increasing its exposure so who knows? |

Lol, I don’t think posting it here is going to help it. I can also pick a few things apart on it if I really wanted to, the mileage claim being one thing I personally don’t believe. |
