I have managed to find a small stock of main bearings for the 2.1L engine.
Anyone interested?
Part #87 412 712 & 87 412 611. According to the numbers these are 0.25 and 0.50.
Do we need connecting rod bearings as well?
Anyone interested? These are located out of the US and will require me bringing them in so I want to make sure there is interest.
All in all I think I have 7 sets total.
UPDATE:
Do we need connecting rod bearings as well?
These are coming from out of the country. So there will be some cost involved.

I am going to be bringing those all the way from Israel. So there will be some higher cost involved.

I recently got brand new connecting rods and three different sizes of rod bearings from Van-cafe. Mike sent me a message to say he'd was perplexed, but I gave him my reasons and he was satisfied, so it didn't seem like his CR bearing supply was short at that time. But, VC certainly does not have Mains. Perhaps one of the big vendors, or builders will want all of these that are not already ditto'd ?? _________________ '87 Westy 'Flossie','86 Westy 'R1','86 tintop GL - Subi2.2 'J2','83.5 stock tintop L 'ZoomBus','74 Karmann Ghia, '63 Notch |

Does the 2.0 Air-cool engine use the same Rod and Main bearings as the 2.1 WBXer engine? _________________ '84 Vanagon Tin-top, ALH TDI. 1989 Tin-top
