67ct, you must've been on cloud 9 to drive your Beetle to its first show! Great effort to save the beastie. Wishing you many more enjoyable and trouble-free drives. |

Looks good in the photos! Glad to see you Brent! Absolutely was Rome, a few finishing touches and the majority of this comes to a close and then it's just basic upkeep. Now onto the Westy that they say I can't fix... to that I say look at this thread. _________________ '67 Beetle L41

Did someone say tires?! Ha ha!
Looks fantastic! Sorry I missed the event! Great work, hope to see it in person one of these days!
So, either of you guys care to explain why Brent is so excited about the tires. They look great in the pictures, but more details please!
Thanks and Keep on Buggin'! _________________ Stock Steve

I did it, I made it to Terryville! Trip down on my fresh engine was interesting. The oil pressure light comes on at idle, definitely running warm even with all tins in place. The light goes out with acceleration. Either way, had a great time at the show, great to finally get it on display!

It's unlikely, but I might. My engine started acting up out of the blue last month and I haven't driven much since Transporterfest. _________________ '67 Beetle L41

Well, I had my first big road trip this week. Took the bug out to the Cape! Did great there and back, maybe a little sluggish on hills, but it still needs some tuning on the new engine. Probably put a good 400 miles on it. Everyone loved it out there, was good fun cruising around. Hoping to get the bus there next.
