Getting a 1968 Autostick and another 74

Numbers Matching VW's are getting harder to find. Source out the most Stock vehicle and keep that way. You will be glad you did.

Idk. OP is in Tombstone. So it might just be surface rust from the sun killing the paint.
I had an old Ford Ranger that lived it's entire live in the Phoenix area. The roof and hood were surface rusted from the paint being fried off. But the undercarriage looked almost new.
How does the rest of the car look OP? |

One side of the floor is rusted but otherwise in very good shape. Mostly untouched and original. Motor is frozen but no sign of rust. |

Rusted out floor pan + frozen motor seems to be signs of it getting water intrusion.
Frozen motor is probably piston rusted to cylinder wall:
After spraying the crap out of mine with Kroil
Not too big a deal just clean up the case, replace the P/C and good to go! _________________ I'm the humblest guy on this board.
