Michael Lang sold more posters and tickets after the historic concert than before it. The history is not clear on who got paid (by boatloads of cash) and who didnt but one thing in this mans life is assured, he did a free concert in Woodstock NY in 1969 for close to 500,000 people. What an undertaking! And, just think, more people whould have showed up to both be there and participate if it wasnt blocked off for miles and miles. To Michael Lang...........thank you. |

That's a shocker to me, and he was pretty young. My kids grew up watching what they called "The Michelle Show". He did a somewhat raunchy stand-up act, and had just completed a 2-hour set Saturday night.
