Picked up a pair of good used official 1958 Type 1 Workshop Manuals. Not cheap but what is in this line these days.

Wow! Didn’t know they had some color in them!
Are the photo’s less grainy than those in the copies?

Do you mean are the illustrations in the manual less grainy than my photos?
If that's what you mean then no they are halftone printed so extra large prints will show more grain.

Well TBH I don't have the Bentleys, I've always used the vintage Clymer and Idiot's Guide and downloaded a lot of the other manuals from The Samba Archives so I've never had to shell out for the Bentley. Good quality large illustrations throughout the official manuals as you'd expect.
