New fuel injector options? – D Jet.

Has anyone had any experience in using Standard Motor Products FJ119 injectors on a stock type 3 D-jet system/1600 engine- do they fit okay and does the car run fine? Are there any other alternative new injectors that can be used?

I sent 10x original used Bosch injectors off to an injector refurbishment company in the hope 4 good ones could be found to re-build, but I was later told by this company that all 10 were either leaking fuel from the injector body or seized and hence they were not suitable to be rebuilt. I keep having issues with 2nd hand Bosch injectors leaking fuel and NOS items cost so much. Anyone have any recommendations/experience on my options for new units? Thanks.

Yes the SMP injsctors are good.

Lots of people using them with good success. SMP has been around forever.
