I wonder where all the water that can be seen pouring out of the hatch is getting IN? Yikes!

I thought the same thing. Although, the first thing that came to mind was missing or rotten floor pans.

Isn't this the same car that people once in a while come across and ask why it's there and someone will reply "don't get shot!"?

notchboy and squaretobehip know about this story...

Not stealing parts believe it or not. He’s had it there for years and years. Everyone has tried to buy it but it’s always the same story, “it’s going to be restored “. Especially with that can of WD40 in the back. “That’ll buff out!” Hahaha 🤣

Yeah, that early Squareback has been there for years and years. We've inquired about it many times to no avail.

Wildfires...mudslides...flooding...nothing will move that Squareback. Crying or Very sad

Well WD is "Water Displacement" so he probably just needs about 1000 cases of it. Very Happy

I can see by the front fenders and lack of side trim why you guys want it. Cool

Cool

It has become local folklore for the VW scene in Orange. I heard it when I'd run into new-to-me VW people with my Squareback:

"Hey, there's one of those in the hills up there. I think it's early or somethin'. Been there for years."

Crying or Very sad
