Happy New Year 2022 from Japan. I have a quick question for the experts out there, if you don’t mind. I am currently having body work done on my ‘70(?) Brazlian 15-window split screen bus here in Japan, but uncovering a lot of shoddy post front collision repairwork, including a bent drivers side door….rather than attempting to fix the door w/welded hinges problems etc. I am looking for a replacement door..but I don’t know what year doors I can look for(or should look for)? Be nice if I wasn’t just limited to Brazilian doors and could look German as well, but again, I am no expert so if anyone could please offer me any advice, I would greatly, greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much in advance. I will try
to attach a pic of my bus as well. Thank you again. |

I'm pretty sure '50-'63 German doors are a direct bolt on. These doors are also reproduced. _________________ .

Lind & Who.me? ,
Thank you both so very much for your quick and very kind replies. I did some asking around here in Japan as well, and just like you both already told me, doors up to ‘63 should be a perfect fit, so that’s exactly what I’ll look for. Too bad no one in the UK will ship to me, as there seems to be a lot there. Haha…again, many thanks and a very Happy New Year 2022 to you both. |
