Steyr 50

Can anybody help me with some more info about the Steyr 50?
I’ve bought one with a early air cooled engine.

interesting. as far as i can tell it is supposed to have a flat 4 liquid cooled engine, similar to how the engine in the old Saabs was with the radiator behind the engine.

I thought the vw engine number 2 - 030450 indicated 1943 and the 48 in a circle may indicate a post-war rebuild in that year. would this be correct?

what is driven by the extra pully and is the motor bolted to a steyr gearbox?
