They are as small as I could make them. The tire comes within a half inch of hitting on bump. They have some rubber on them in the inside from hitting full bump and full lock. Something I did not expect would occur. Luckily not enough to do any damage. They definitely catch some air while cruising on the freeway at 70! _________________ My Build: http://aarmthing.blogspot.com/ |

A-arm, just shy 20" travel.
New arms. VW version in process and fabricated torsion version.
CAD design.
And the extreme version, somewhere in the 8x8 range. After 6x6 they are referred by pivot to axle.

The thread is about stopping by, sorry to be confusing. The pics are random of my work. I work with Iguana. The Thing build is in here, but buried deep in the forum.

When it seems as if the decades are flying by, it's a definite symptom of only 1 possible affliction.
Dr. Dusty diagnoses you as having the terminal disease called "Old Age"!
Ain't none of us getting out this alive! We have a support group for those afflicted with this terrible epidemic disease. But you're already registered there. Many of those registered have not yet realized they have the affliction.
As your disease progresses, this will be your next offroad vehicle:
Then this:

Speaking of dropping by after many years...How the heck are ya Kevin? Ya know there's still a red Baja Bug in my yard with #64 on number plates on both sides of it. Shortly after Scott acquired it and brought it to me to be the next project, he lost his job and did a career change and other life things. So it still sits here. _________________ Richard

We sold that car like 15 years ago
finishing the 4 four-door. working on the body panels now. It's going to be the wife's car.
I'm a family man now so I don't have the time to build things like i did.
I just got my hands on a thing body. been looking for one for the last 10 years.
