I would like to refurbish my BeKoWa 9 Slat Roof Rack. What color are the racks supposed to be? Sort of a "Silver Gray"??? Any specific recommendations? Also, is this rack for a Sunroof model? As you can see, it measures about 8 1/4" from a flat surface to the underside of the center of the rack. I also need to purchase some repro "clamps", as the originals are missing. Any recommended sources? Thanks.

so what is the distance of that on a Bekowa sunroof roofrack?
Is it 9 inch instead of 8.25?
Did anyone ever measure this distance on a sunroof rack please?

The finish is Silver Hammertone. Several companies make it is spray can form.

Here are some photos of another unrestored Bekowa rack, an early model. I took the same measurement, get 8.75", so maybe mine is a sunroof model. Paint is a smooth low gloss silver, no texture.
