I am just about to put on my final paint and noticed that my gas filler bracket is looking rough.

I will bend it back into shape but I don't know what the correct shape is.

Does anyone have a picture of one that is correct?

Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

Thanks!

It doesn't look bent to me.
Put the pipe in and get the clamp round again.
Looks like you need to rework the 1/2 round piece.
Pipe needs to point to the gas tank filler rubber.
Paint your inner fenders etc again with www.masterseriesct.com silver or black brushed on? Smile

For the 1/2 round piece, is that tab bent the wrong way?

I haven't used master series, I'll have to check it out!

Thanks for the reply.

It looks like it should be pushed up & folded back to the inside?

I can confirm now that it is pushed up and folded in.
Get your pipe out and get it fit to the pipe with body hammer & dolly.
