Has anyone seen or used this kit? Seems like a good option for hot water showers and still compact.

The Samba loosens my wallet yet again! (With an assist from some lovely Covid-end-times boxed wine...)
This thing is great! I have RMW bumpers, and don’t currently tow anything, so the hitch mount included in the Costco deal works perfectly for me. I had the whole thing assembled within 10 minutes, and the water pressure was fantastic without having to use the included cap pump, or Schrader valve. I foresee having it on the van most of the time to clean off dog paws and such. At ~$150, this is about as cheap as a really enjoyable Westy accessory gets!

Oh nice!! Looks great. I was under the impression that a lot of the Vanagons had smaller hitch receivers. I'm glad it fits your perfectly! Please let me know if you have any issues! _________________ Read the story of Vern as it unfolds |

Ordered the Day Tank and ScottMcW was a great help with the dimensions of the Universal Plate and the bar mount pieces.
I wanted to mount the UP to my tire carrier and leave it there full time but was concerned that it may hit/touch the hatch.
No concern what so ever. It does come close but doesn't touch. Here a few pics of the mount mocked up before I could find
my 4.5mm Allen wrench to tighten it all up.
Now for Summer to get here and give this WaterPort a try! _________________ '15 Audi A3 Quattro

Hey Tim,
That looks great! Glad I was able to finally get you real dimensions there, and even more glad that it fit.
Let me know if you have any more questions.

Huh, that's a neat idea. Where do you store it while you travel?
I built a quick little 2x4 cage for mine that the fridge then sits on top of. Very handy to wash off myself and my bike after a ride. I love it. One day I'll get around to make it look nicer. I can't imagine my van without it.

Thinking that I'll end up carrying my tank on the luggage rack to Campgrounds that have water to fill up. The sites that
do not I'll fill it before I go and still carry up there. A lady selling her Westy sent me a picture of her UP mounted to what
looks like a GW Bay Window gutter bracket. I think that a RMW Sunseeker bracket would work as I already have those in use.
Just the UP and bracket mounted for travel would work, not sure I would want to travel with a full tank held on with only a single mount.
An ARB roof rack awning bracket like this would also work as a mounting point.

Anyone know of a supplier in Canada on the east coast?
$159 US is a deal
Shipping from the B.C. contact it becomes $350 Canadian.
How come Costco Canada no longer caries them? |

Seems even the costco price is now $199 in the U.S. I have this product and have used it all over baja for both showers as well as doing dirty dishes to lessen the splash in the sink inside. Money well spent! |

What a cool product.
I ordered two of the larger tanks, but they're on back order. |
