Dear friends,
It has been repaired brake system 6 years ago in my VW 1302 . But there is no any brake issue so far. Only brake liners were replaced . It is a daily driven car. Therefore should I service the brake system as preventive maintenance ? What parts should be replaced in the brake system if I am doing brake service job ?

please give your comments regarding that.

Thanks & regards

Adjust the shoes as required. When you see the linings getting thin through the peek holes, change the shoes.

Change the brake fluid once a year (biyearly al least).

Yes you should adjust the brakes about every 3000 miles. Brakes are adjusted by simply rotating two adjusters on each wheel. If you are new to this process, then YouTube videos can explain it.

Based on my experience, the flex hose's should be changed maybe every 5-10 years. My Ford trucks usually last 3-5 years mainly due to low quality replacement parts.
