So… who is declaring themselves king? |
Just a prince, since I defined the challenge, per the rules the actual King made for this thread. |
In that case, try reading the rules, right there in the second fucking sentence.

Next challenge: Your VW in disassembled condition.
The winner will be the car MOST disassembled that is:
(1) posted during the next five days, or
(2) after five compliant posts, whichever comes first. |

SOMEbody had piss in their Cheerios this morning! How do those F-bombs taste? Feel better?
Maybe all this energy could have been put to use in the last month to respond to the prior challenge. No, I guess not.
Okay, we have five days now (per the actual challenge I posted), and we have some fine entries by:
Ceckert64 (2 entries)
Ulu
bobnorman
Craig (creative points, though not strictly compliant)
So on Day Five, we finally got (almost) Five Entries.
It's a tough call, and all are in the spirit of the challenge for sure! But I declare the most disassembled, as measured by considerations of effort and entropy is...
Ceckert64!
The others are indeed in advanced states of disassembly, so this was not clear-cut.
But by virtue of the others being (almost) able to run, the Squareback without half the suspension and engine and interior is judged the winner!
Congrats, Ceckert64, and please choose the next challenge!
(Suggestion: Make it take at least a week, just to drive some bonkers!) |

And make sure it includes at least 5 entries and declare yourself King to judge…
I like this new format. _________________ .ssS! |

We had a rule on the motorcycle forum, where I previously ran this exact same contest, that after five days without a winner anybody could post a new challenge by simply being first to declare it a stale contest. 120 hours from the previous challenge, it became stale.
I only had one instance where that happened and somebody could not meet the challenge, and it was due to a photograph that I posted. Be assured that if I ever get the chance, I will do the same thing here. Good luck. _________________ SS100 kit kar

Here’s an idea, how about getting in your VW & actually fulfilling the challenge.
In the spirit of Valentine’s Day,
NEXT CHALLENGE: Your VW at a florist or stationary store. _________________ Everybody born before 1975 has a story, good, bad, or indifferent, about a VW.

Another reason to have the first poster win, and immediately set the new challenge. |

Yes, he was the FIRST to complete the challenge, he should pick the next challenge. If he comes back & sets a new challenge, I will delete this one. Until then, the new challenge is…

In the interim let us see some entries that are good artistically which met the spirit of the challenge.

From the unfulfilled challenge list, we found an opportunity today at a local car/bike show: Your VW next to a motorcycle of the same color... We found one today... Tapped a local biker's shoulder, to make him stop. Fortunately, he was going really slow, as he was leaving. E got a pic on her cell-phone camera:
