Well done to everyone for his contributions, and to the above examples which for sure help people like me to look and educate myself at these superb examples as reference points.

I have a question regarding the clips or metal tabs which secure the hood cable in place.

Mine is a 1971 US import and has only one metal tab in the apron. The rear apron is still original and has not been replaced.

Is this correct? As I have seen models 1967 having plastic clips, 1970 models having 2 foldable metal tabs and 1971 and later only 1 metal tab.

Thanks for your input and guidance.
