Just curious if anybody here has ever installed a set of Safari’s on a bus with a Behr scoop without removing the scoop.

I have a set of CE/Wolfgang Safaris (Mixture of both) and have started an install using the CE instructions by drilling the outer holes in the correct location, but because of the scoop, I can’t get a drill for the inner holes.

I’m afraid removing the scoop will damage paint so I want to avoid that if possible. Any ideas?

Perhaps a flexible drill extension would be what you need

Is there enough room for a drill with a right angle head with a short drill bit?
