I would like to lower the physical height of my shift level between 2/3". Is there a company out there that offers short length levers?
Basically I want to run a CarPlay head unit and my current shifter just hits the bottom of the screen. Maybe the shifter is out of alignment and shouldn't throw that far? I dont know its a new to me Vanagon. |

You can adjust the depth of the shifter splines under the van to cheat a bit. Get them out more. Or cut you shifter and reweld the threaded portion lower. YOu might be even able to rethread it once cut... _________________ Silicone Steering Boots and 930 Cv boots for sale in the classifieds.

Thanks for the thoughts. I was thinking about cutting and glueing a knob on till I get a better solution. Im guessing my linkage is a bit out and my shift lever is also bent and should be replaced soonish. |
