Which one do you need? I have a spare '65 version, which I believe you can make work. Otherwise I'm sure if you post a wanted ad youd be able to buy one on the cheap.

Good morning Aiden.

If you think the 1965 would work instead of the 1958 through 1964, glad to accept the generous gift. Still have the Stapley Drive address?

I though said if knew Latin, could read Greek, which makes no sense to me...

Ah, well it came across as 12 years of memory. A child's memory doesn't start until age seven or so (though I have memories before I turned four).

Well, turns out there was a couple misunderstandings, so when my friend went to the community box today, the bearing cap was found. We both are mentally and physically exhausted from this mad dash to get what we can out of the house.

I am glad I did the $20 gamble (same seller), the new door handles are made in Brazil and have plated hardware, the chrome looks thick and nicely done, plus the pushbutton spring is stiff compared to the originals. These are just temporary, driver side door handle's spring broke so pushbutton no longer work, until get the matching set from WW.

Nice score! Its hard to find used door handles that arent beaten up to death.

Did Ruby come with locking handles on both doors or did your car come with a euro standard handle on the passenger side like my 65?

Sorry was not clear, had trouble getting to sleep and remembered I had forgotten to post an update. The handles are brand new, though somehow the keys were lost.

Locking both sides. I forgot yours was a basic European. No headlining on the pillars, correct?

Tourist delivery would be a deluxe US specification. I know as Baby was a European model converted to tourist delivery. My case was a German scientist who came on exchange to work at Bell Labs.

As for the headliner, the B pillars be painted if just the central headliner. Wink Go look at some images, I think it's neat.

What a day!

Make a long story short, my friend told me this morning we are getting Baby and Ruby off the property and into storage. About six hours later, they both are safe. I am still stunned this happened, what a relief and what an amazing friend.

My friend's mother in law has an empty two car garage and allowing Ruby to stay a brief time. For some reason she was not happy and said Ruby should go to the scrapper, in response to me telling her why Ruby is so special and why I appreciate the hospitality. Interesting how neurotypicals expect neurodivergents to be polite, yet they don't have to. So, didn't think should take the time to take a picture, better to get out quickly. Wink Laughing

So you got Ruby safe in a 2 car garage, but now you have to get it back on the road quickly like you promised.

Why the need to be nasty?

Must be nice to be able what you want to do. I don't have that luxury so my projects get put on hold.

FWIW I don't think Mike was being nasty, only offering encouragement.

Okay, Mike's curtness most likely has caused bias, thank you for letting me know of my error.

Thank you for the compliment and encouragement, it is appreciated. Very Happy

It is not life, it is someone who enjoys making other people's lives at least uncomfortable and put unreasonable demands on others. Mike has no employment and no significant demands, certainly no one in his life like this Trustee.

Since thinking about it, will say looks like maybe a resolution is coming, though not going to hold my breath.

I thought better update y'all since been a really long time.

When moving into the rental just about a month ago, carrying a big heavy box of books, I passed out from exhaustion and heat, been doing so much work to pack and move, over did it. I came to realizing I was falling into broken rock gravel, seeing a shrub, went for it, and not only landed in the sub with no damage to me or the trousers, held onto the box of books and they stayed upright. When I passed out I sprained my ankle both sides and the back. My dear friend who's mother in law who is allowing Ruby to be stored in her garage has not allowed me to go over there and work, so as don't further and/or permanently damage my ankle. Yes, I probably could get her number and try and make arrangements, though I rather not upset my friend and more important, trust his advice since has far more experience and wisdom than me.

Oof. Sorry to hear about that. The best preventative for ankle sprains are activities like running, squat jumps, or machines at the jym.

Also, when your ankle heals, sit on the top of your feet at lean back. Good stretch for mobility. We swimmers do this since it flattens us out but it also prevents injury.

Glad you were able to prevent more serious injury! Take it easy and let the ankle heal properly, Ruby will understand the delay.

This is my first sprain and after PT which included ankle strengthening (to address my weak and lacking range of motion hips, which was causing knee pain, especially the right).

I have barely any fluid in my knees, so running and jumping aren't enjoyable, when my PT checkup comes in August will see what Paul recommennds. I would not have thought of prevention and healing exercises, thank you.

I have not seen anyone after the ER visit so no clue if healed, probably should. So while thinking of it, booked an appointment (nice can be done online), though PCP not available until late July, so sent a message inquiring if a referral to podiatry can be made without the in person visit (have done that before).

I was going to get back to swimming after literally years of no oppertunity, this community has a pool, but thought best to be healed before do. I never thought of stretching first, is this the only one y'all do?

Thank you for the care. Yah, I am still amused at my talented falling.

Totally agree I need to heal, though don't know when and this recovering workaholic hard to take it easy. I am soon going to be picked up for men's group by this friend and see if can take me over Monday and do some light tasks, like installing seatbelts or the windshield.

Don't worry. I tore the cartilage in my right knee at camp a few years ago. Our medical care is so trash its been 3 years and the insurance won't pay for an MRI. They literally JUST told me if I go to physical therapy for 6 WEEKS they would CONSIDER. Lol my knee is gonna fall off by then.

When I swim I can hear my knee pop in and out. Well I can hear it on land as well but it's less scary Laughing

Yes being active is so important even if you're not trying to build muscle mass. I can give you a long list of stretches and exercises if you want.

It sounds like explosive movements are a no no for you. I'll keep that in mind.

Yikes! Shocked I can't believe didn't fix the cartilage when it happened. I myself would have been a squeaky wheel and find another option, maybe PT say unable to help without the MRI and/or do more damage.

With United Health Community plan, I must see my PCP for a referral, rather than going directly. I also can call them and ask if something is covered and always been helpful, even if the answer is no.

I don't know what explosive movements are, though would say only applies to my lower body? My upper body is fine except my left shoulder once in a while subluxes and is a bit stiff, hoping when my allotment of PT starts beginning of October we can address that. It is from a bicycle accident when I was 12, lackluster medical coverage.

Doing exercise without the intent of bulking has for me lead to bulking. For example, when I started PT I was a 37 inch chest and now I am a 44 inch chest.

My current goal is get my gut down. I and the doctors are clueless how I went from about 175 pounds to a grotesque 230 pounds, 32 inch waist to 44 inch waist, in just three months. End of Spring I was down to 210 pounds and right now I am 39,5 inch waist, with barely any changes. I initially dieted but my weight stayed the same for months, then the poop hit the fan and became hard to diet when mentally plus physically exhausted and overwhelmed. Once the former house is cleared out, plan to get on Noom and see if can get to 180 pounds, 34 inch waist, knowing when I was 155 pounds and 32 inch waist I have since put on bulk, muscle weighs more than fat (why use measurements). I am 6'-2" tall, by the way.

I was so very much looking forward to getting something done on Ruby this morning, my friend said he take me over, then later help me with a couple errands and bring over the artwork, yet, never showed. Why is it folks say they are going to do something then don't with no forwarding or explanation? Really irritates me, one should be open and honest.

Honestly feel like waiting until Baby is back here and I can drive myself.

Yeah i mean lifting weights or calisthenics is great for the mind and body. It would help with any ptsd as well.

Explosive movements are isolated lifts or pushes where you push or pull at full effort as fast as you can. Builds fast twitch muscle fiber.

BTW tomarow I'm getting prayer and deliverance and will let you know the results. I have a gut feeling a lot of your oppression is demonic through a lot of the things you have mentioned. I've seen people healed in Jesus name in deliverance physical and mental. People who the world deemed "sketsofrenic" were healed instantly in prayer.
