Wow! Take pictures of that and post it here! Do you have the correct color, too? _________________ 02/24/2022

Does the NOS headliner box include sections for gluing to the window frames and pillars? _________________ Founder and Chairman Emeritus, ECMSAS

This number belongs to the cloth headliner until 7/63
correct would be:
241 867 505 B 680 kumulusweiß (for color combination 72) if you are aiming for a deluxe conversion...
In addition you will need the rear part (this is the only perforated piece):
247 867 557 A
and the middle part (sunroof):
225 875 025 A
Hopefully just the wrong number on the box. But the box seems a bit too small for all the pieces... _________________ 02/24/2022

what do you mean with cloth headliner?
i could not read the number on the box, the former owner write the paper, i opened the box for that pictures:
i see one big part, looks all white with black points (looks like no holes at all), one part for the inner sunroof part, some spare parts for the posts and some rods.
i would like to use it somehow on this car, i hope it works!

Cool! That's the real stuff!
The parts number you showed was the wrong one. It fits to the cloth (Himmelstoff) headliner for the earlier models. As from 64 the headliner material was made of vinyl (Kunstleder).
The rearmost section is perforated. If I see correctly on your last pic, it's the part laying on top.
Indeed very rare parts and usually unobtainable (unerhältlich). Congrats for this find!
I was not able to find a NOS headliner for my 67 Deluxe, so I decided to produce my own dot printed material:

Happy that i have the right Headliner!
thanks for your Input and the real good Pictures and Thread about your Headliner! Very good reference!
Almost can't believe that you fabricated that all!
I finished some more welding on the floor in the Passenger Area like the rear Jackpoint and the closed hat Profile, i tried to weld them on the same spots like Original...
Also the Steering Wheel is out now with no fresh cracks on it.

The type 251 still is the "Sondermodell" seven seater aka "Sambabus" but without sunroof (M130)... making it your "Sparsamba"
Those new certificates look nice! They spelled your name wrong though I think... _________________ 02/24/2022
